
Dr Wayne Cooper has spent over 20 years in the public and private health sectors and has published more than 140 publications in international scientific journals. He has more than 10 years experience teaching in Universities within Queensland and brings expertise in spinal cord injuries to the practice.
Dr Cooper was involved in a motorcycle accident when he was in his early 20’s at University and uses his lived experience as a person with paraplegia to advocate and support those living with spinal cord injuries within the community.
Dr Cooper is a Board member of the Spinal Life Australia Not-for-Profit organisation as well as a Member Fellow of the Australian Medical Association.
